สภาองค์กรของผู้บริโภคผลักดันการพัฒนาบริการขนส่งสาธารณะที่ปลอดภัยและเป็นธรรมเพื่อการคุ้มครองผู้บริโภคในพื้นที่ตะวันตก เพื่อส่งเสริมระบบคมนาคมขนส่งที่ยั่งยืน เข้าถึงได้ ปลอดภัย ในราคาที่สามารถจ่ายได้ สำหรับทุกคน

เมื่อวันที่ 12 เดือนพฤศจิกายน พ.ศ. 2567 ผศ.ดร.พนิดา  นิลอรุณ หลักสูตรบริหารธุรกิจมหาบัณฑิต สาขานวัตกรรมการจัดการทุนมนุษย์และการประกอบการ นักวิจัยร่วมโครงการพัฒนาบริการขนส่งสาธารณะที่ปลอดภัยและเป็นธรรมเพื่อการคุ้มครองผู้บริโภคในพื้นที่ตะวันตก พร้อมด้วย ดร.ภวินท์ธนา เจริญบุญ วิทยากร จากมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล นำเสนอผลการศึกษาข้อมูลเพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาข้อเสนอระบบขนส่งสาธารณะในพื้นที่เศรษฐกิจจังหวัดกาญจนบุรี ภายใต้โครงการพัฒนาบริการขนส่งสาธารณะที่ปลอดภัยและเป็นธรรมเพื่อการคุ้มครองผู้บริโภคในพื้นที่ตะวันตก สนับสนุนโดยสภาองค์กรของผู้บริโภค ณ จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี โดยรายละเอียดของผลการศึกษาข้างต้นนั้นมีรายละเอียดดังนี้ 

1. ด้านพฤติกรรมการใช้บริการขนส่งสาธารณะของกลุ่มประชาชน พบว่า ส่วนใหญ่ใช้บริการรถประจำทาง โดยมีจุดประสงค์การใช้บริการเพื่อธุระส่วนตัวทั่วไปและใช้บริการขนส่งสาธารณะคนเดียว ส่วนในกลุ่มของนักท่องเที่ยว พบว่าส่วนใหญ่ใช้บริการรถไฟ โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อท่องเที่ยว และใช้บริการขนส่งสาธารณะกลุ่มเพื่อนตั้งแต่ 2 คนขึ้นไป

2. ความคิดเห็นต่อศักยภาพการให้บริการขนส่งสาธารณะในจังหวัดกาญจนบุรีอยู่ในระดับมาก และในส่วนท้ายสุดของกิจกรรมนั้นมีการเสนอข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบายจากผลการวิจัยและจัดกิจกรรมเวทีเชิงวิชาการที่มุ่งเน้นพัฒนาความร่วมมือในการพัฒนาระบบขนส่งสาธารณะจังหวัดกาญจนบุรี 

ทั้งนี้กิจกรรมดังกล่าวมีความสอดคล้องกับการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) เป้าหมายที่ 11 การบริหารและจัดการเมืองและชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน ซึ่งเป็นการทำให้เมืองและการตั้งถิ่นฐานของมนุษย์ มีความครอบคลุม ปลอดภัย

Thailand Consumers Council promotes the development of safe and fair public transportation services for consumer protection in the Western region. The goal is to advance a transportation system that is sustainable, accessible, safe, and affordable for everyone.

On November 12, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Panida Ninaroon, a Master of Business Administration Program Innovation in Human Capital Management and Entrepreneurship researcher, joins the project to develop safe and fair public transportation services for consumer protection in the Western Region. The results of a data study, presented by Dr. Pawinthana Charoenboon, a lecturer from Mahidol University, aid in the development of public transportation proposals in Kanchanaburi Province's economic area. The project aims to create safe and equitable public transportation services to safeguard consumers in the western region. Supported by the Council of Consumer Organizations in Kanchanaburi Province, the details of the above study are as follows:

1. Public transportation behavior of the public It was found that the majority of them use buses for general personal business purposes and use public transportation alone. The majority of tourists use the train for tourism and public transportation for groups of two or more friends.

2. Opinions on the potential of public transportation services in Kanchanaburi Province are at a high level. Upon the completion of the activity, researchers proposed policy recommendations and organized an academic forum to foster cooperation in the development of Kanchanaburi Province's public transportation system.

These activities are in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Goal 11: Sustainable management and management of cities and communities. Comprehensive, safe.
